This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which POWER SHIFTER Digital Inc. collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the https://powershifter.com website ("Site").
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, fill out a form, respond to a survey, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.
Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.
Web browser cookies
Our Site may use "cookies" to enhance User experience. User's web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. Third-party services on our Site
The services below receive information about you when you use the Site. Google Analytics 4 and the Meta pixel are controlled by the cookie banner. The rest are needed to run the Site or to handle what you send us.
Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google LLC, to understand which pages are read and how visitors find the Site. It sets cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) and Google receives technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and the pages you view. It loads only if you accept analytics cookies. To opt out, reject analytics in the cookie banner or from the Cookies link in the footer, or install Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Meta pixel and Conversions API. We use the Meta pixel and the Meta Conversions API, services of Meta Platforms, Inc., to show POWER SHIFTER ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited the Site, and to measure whether those ads lead to an enquiry. The pixel sets cookies named _fbp and _fbc and sends Meta the pages you visit and actions you take, such as submitting the newsletter or contact form. When you submit either form, our server also sends Meta that action along with your IP address, browser details and your email address. Your email address is hashed, which means it is scrambled with a one-way function before it leaves our server, and Meta uses it to match the action to an account. Both load only if you accept marketing cookies. To opt out, reject marketing in the cookie banner or from the Cookies link in the footer, or manage the ads you see in your Meta ad preferences. Meta describes its practices in its privacy policy.
Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare Stream, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., to host and play the videos on the Site, Cloudflare Images to deliver pictures, and Cloudflare Workers to run the back end of the chat assistant, the newsletter signup and the contact form. When Cloudflare delivers a video or picture it receives your IP address and your device and browser information. Workers also uses your IP address to limit how fast any one visitor can send messages and forms. We do not use Cloudflare for advertising. These services are part of how the Site works, so the cookie banner does not control them. If you do not want Cloudflare to receive this information, use a browser or extension that blocks embedded media. Cloudflare describes its practices in its privacy policy.
Vercel. Vercel Inc. hosts the Site. When you load a page, Vercel receives your IP address and request details such as the page, your browser and the time, and may keep standard server logs. Hosting is part of how the Site works, so the cookie banner does not control it. Vercel describes its practices in its privacy policy.
Adobe Fonts. We load our typefaces from Adobe Fonts, a service of Adobe Inc. When your browser loads the fonts, Adobe receives your IP address and your browser details. Fonts are part of how the Site looks and works, so the cookie banner does not control them. Adobe describes its practices in its privacy policy.
YouTube and Podbean. A few articles embed a video from YouTube, a service of Google LLC, or a podcast player from Podbean. When one of those articles loads, YouTube or Podbean may receive your IP address and device details, and may set their own cookies when you play the embed. The cookie banner does not control these embeds. To avoid them, skip the articles that contain them or block embedded content in your browser. Chat assistant (Anthropic). The chat assistant on the Site is powered by Claude, a model from Anthropic PBC. What you type in the chat is sent through our Cloudflare Worker to Anthropic, which generates the replies. Your conversation is kept in your browser so it can continue, and it resets after two hours without activity. When you leave after sending at least one message, a transcript is emailed to our team through Resend. Please do not put sensitive information in the chat. To opt out, do not use the chat and email or call us instead. Anthropic describes its practices in its privacy policy.
Contact form and email delivery (Resend). If you send us a note through the contact form, your name, email address and message go to our Cloudflare Worker, which delivers them to our business development inbox using Resend, an email delivery service. Resend also delivers the chat transcripts described above. To opt out, do not use the form and email or call us instead. Resend describes its practices in its privacy policy.
Newsletter (Campaign Monitor). If you sign up for The Signal, your email address goes to Campaign Monitor, our email service provider, which stores it and sends the newsletter. Campaign Monitor reports to us whether emails are opened and which links are clicked. To opt out, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email or contact us. Campaign Monitor describes its practices in its privacy policy.
How we use collected information
POWER SHIFTER Digital Inc. may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:
- To run and operate our Site — We may need your information display content on the Site correctly.
- To improve customer service — Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.

If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.
Third party websites
Users may find advertising or other content on our Site that link to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Site.
