We’re ending 2020 with some big news: our project with Delta Controls won best UX for Product in the annual Vancouver User Experience Awards! We are proud of our talented team and clients for this amazing collaboration.
The Vancouver User Experience Awards are an annual show that celebrates the incredible experiences growing startups, freelance practitioners, agencies, and user-centric enterprises create every day. The category UX for Product honours BC-based products whose digital experiences enrich and engage across a broad spectrum of domains.
Our winning project created an easy-to-use planning and configuration experience for Delta Controls’ innovative O3 Sensor Hub. What makes this solution both challenging and impressive is that this highly technical tool is made simple for first-time users. They can easily configure and install a sensor device without comprehensive training or guidance—all within 90 seconds. A reduction in time configuration, time spent on-site, training, and support calls amounts to significant savings for clients. The digital component of the Sensor Hubs became essential after the onset of COVID-19. The process that POWER SHIFTER created reduces the need for in-person contact via the cloud platform, surfacing critical data and insights, and minimizing time spent on-site, making things safer for everyone.
