The brief.

Angel Oak's website was out of date — antiquated, difficult to update, and in need of a full redesign. As a leading mortgage lending company providing easy and efficient loans to underserved customers, Angel Oak understood the importance of creating a high-performing website with a powerful SEO engine that would help them reach their intended audiences.

With audience groups spanning both traditional and non-traditional loan seekers, Angel Oak also needed a comprehensive understanding of their end-users so that they could provide a web experience that would help all people achieve the dream of homeownership.

Power Shifter stepped in to produce just that — a website engineered to delight and convert.

The solution.

Angel Oak brought in Power Shifter to create a conversion-driven website that would make navigating loan applications easy. We gained an in-depth understanding of their brand and audiences, so that we could truly highlight what sets Angel Oak apart from its competitors — and produce a site that kept their audiences' needs front-and-center. Alongside Flywheel Digital, who provided SEO and measurement strategy, we created a Webflow site that puts the user experience first —  and helps Angel Oak stand out as true industry leaders. The new custom Webflow site was so optimized for success that there were no drops in leads upon launch — in fact, leads rapidly increased.

A superior content experience

Angel Oak's new site is fast, easy to update, and SEO-optimized: meaning Angel Oak employees can easily add new content to the site, and end-users can seamlessly find the resources they're looking for. This was thanks in part to Power Shifter's custom code that made it simpler than ever for users to find branch offices and advisors near their area-code.

Built for scale and security

The new site boasts increased speed and improved responsiveness, as well as greater security. With Angel Oak processing applicants' sensitive financial information, we needed to ensure that no shortcuts or compromises were taken. The end result is a site that is set up to scale alongside Angel Oak's business, while providing best-in-class security to keep end users safe.

A powerful user-experience to
match powerful technology

Angel Oak Home Loans pride themselves on providing unique flexibility and cutting-edge technological solutions in the mortgage loan space. Now, their website allows users to quickly navigate and access loan applications, determine borrower eligibility, and track loan statuses, providing a frictionless and simple experience end-to-end.

"The back end is incredibly intuitive and we are going to be able to do amazing things through our marketing campaigns via the platform's flexibility"
